KAERI is the only national institute to perform an integrated nuclear R&D in Korea since 1959. For the past 60 years, KAERI has been an forefront to become self-reliant in nuclear technology and to lead technology improvement. Based on the world-class R&D infrastructures, KAERI is leading the nuclear technology in the world. In 2022, KAERI is certified to be a UST school and operating two majors in Radiation Science and Nuclear Science and Technology to provide research-oriented education and training.
